The Annual SRNWP-EPS 2019-2023 Workshop entitled "LAM-EPS prediction of high impact weather and extremes" will take place at AEMET headquarters in Madrid city (Spain), from the 22nd to 24th of October 2019.

The SRNWP-EPS 2019-2023 project was established by EUMETNET as a module under the umbrella of NWP Cooperation Programme into Forecasting Programme.
And its main aim is to enhance the cooperation on convection-permitting LAM ensembles in Europe in order to better forecasting a range of weather phenomena and in particular for improving high impact weather prediction.
The Project is managed by AEMET (Spain), ItAF-REMET (Italy) and RMI (Belgium).
It started its third phase on January the 1st and it will finish on 31
st December 2023 (5 years).
Twenty-one EUMETNET members agreed to participate in the current project.
