Meteorological service for navigation
AEMET system for navegation through which it is possible to get several oceanic parameters (winds and different wave types) of interest for safe coastal or offshore navigation. All of which is showed along the planned route which can last up to ten days and running over any ocean/sea in the world.
This is an interactive application the user can update regularly along with desired geographical accuracy in order to improve spatial and temporal data resolution.
Internet is not part of the Maritime Safety Information System and should never be relied on as the only tool to obtain the latest forecast and warning information.
Access to the service may be interrupted or delayed from time to time, as well as updates. Please refer to GMDSS services, INMARSAT SafetyNET or international NAVTEX for the latest information
